Day 01 Negombo
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met with, and transferred to your hotel in Negombo. Your travel assistant will be with you from the time you enter Sri Lanka to the time you leave. Negombo was once heralded as the island's premier spice town. It then progressively evolved into the biggest fishing port, a centre of Roman Catholicism, and one of the original tourist resorts, thus crowning it the Little Rome of Sri Lanka. This town has a quaint atmosphere, with bustling little streets, delightful canals, interesting creeks, an extensive lagoon and interesting architecture all over the place. Enjoy watching the old world fishing crafts like the outrigger canoes and the catamarans that bring a variety of marine fishes such as seer, skipjack, pomfret and amber-jack. In the lagoon, lobsters and prawns are caught and served as delicacies in the restaurants. In addition, the Negombo Fish Market is a must-visit, apart from the beach of course.

Day 02 Sigiriya - Habarana
Enjoy your breakfast, as you are taken on an approximately 5-hour drive to Habarana, a major place of interest in Sri Lanka. On your way to Habarana you will make a stop at Sigiriya, which is one of Sri Lanka's heritages cities. Sigiriya's history is as enchanting as a fairy tale, if not more. Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress built by King Kasapa who fled to the wilderness of Sigiriya after executing his own father. The guilt and pride kept him hidden in Sigiriya where he built a city of unbelievable grandeur. Take a tour of the frescos and the amazing palace and learn a thing or two about Sri Lanka's colourful history. You will also get the opportunity to enjoy a safari on elephant back at Habarana. We then return to Sigiriya for the night.
Overnight stay at Kassapa lion rock, Sigiriya (3 star) or Aliya Resort & Spa (5 star)
Day 03 Sigiriya - Kandy
You wouldn't want to miss a trip to Kandy, Sri Lanka's golden city. It is an example of culture, tradition, custom and royalty. Kandy, which is located in the Central hills, is just 115 KM from Colombo. The city is famous for Sri Dalada Maligawa where the remains of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha are preserved. Every year the tooth relic is uninstalled from the original place and carried along in a procession. This procession is held for nearly 10 days and is celebrated with music, dance, whip cracking, and other performing arts. The city, which was established in the 15th century, was the last royal capital ending the 2500 years of royal rule of Sri Lanka. Some of the most interesting places to visit in Kandy are: The Temple of Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa); The old royal palace compound; Lankatilake and Gadaladeniya temples; Embekke Temple; Art and Crafts of Kandy; The Royal Botanical gardens.
